After three months, finally here’s the second Part of our son’s Baptism planning.

Right after I completed all the Baptismal Requirements for our Baby Richcarl Nikolai at the Edsa Shrine. I started scouting for Reception venues inside Robinson’s Galleria Mall.

I tried inquiring Giligan’s located at the Ground floor near Starbucks, Pho at the Fourth floor and others. But unfortunately most of the restaurants located inside the mall are scheduled for renovation by March 2018.

Until I remembered that Tom’s World Amusement Center located at the Mall’s Fourth Level have a Party Place. The place is big enough for 100 guests. Although I’m only targeting 70 to 80 pax.

I talked to Ms. Raquel, the person in charge of their party place. She handed me their party packages.

I told Ms. Racquel that I don’t have a program and most of the guests are adults, I just need a decent venue for our son’s baptism reception.

Luckily, Tom’s World is flexible to customer’s needs because they also offer “venue only” rental of P5,000 for 2 hours. Provided that I will get one of their accredited caterers.

I scanned the packages being offered by Tom’s World’s accredited caterers (Kubierto’s Catering, Alba’s Catering and Benedict’s Catering)

The three caterer’s have similar food choices and almost at the same price.

But what caught my interest was the freebies being offered by Kubierto’s Catering for bookings P20,000 up.

Freebies include: 3X4 Tarpaulin with picture of the celebrant, 2 balloon pillars, cake arch balloon, 50 pcs. shower balloons and chocolate fountain.

Ms. Imelda Lopez, the owner of Kubiertos Catering, is very responsive to inquiries and accommodating to requests.

We targeted 80 guests. We don’t have a specific theme but we preferred the Motif to be Tiffany blue, Turquoise and white

Here are our choices for Kubiertos Lunch menu package:

– Roast Beef mushroom sauce

– Chicken Cordon Bleu

– Grilled blue marlin steak

– pasta: Lasagna

– Rice

– Iced Tea

For the invitation, I checked out Shopee for online sellers that can provide cheap but quality invitation.

I come across Ahmayzing Khreaxon’s site they have invitation worth P10 per piece. Their price include layout and printing but there is a shipping fee worth P160. I ordered 20 pcs of invitation and I did the layout online.

For the souvenir, I made DIY bear towels. I bought dozen hand towels in Baclaran and followed Youtube tutorial videos. The bear towel costs P20 per piece. I made 50-55 pcs bear towels.

For the photo coverage, a colleague from GMA referred Lhordy Prepuse Photography, and Lhordy gave us a special rate for his photo services since I am also from GMA.
