The Library owns a number of reports about drainage and reconstruction of the Spicket River from the 1880s to the present day.  These include: Report on the improvement and drainage of the Spicket River Valley (1881), Quarterly reports of the Spicket River Valley Commissioners of the City Of Lawrence (1883-), Ordinance and act of legislature for improvement of the Spicket River Valley in the City of Lawrence (1883), Spicket River Greenway Project (2001), Proposed action plan for Spicket River flood damage recovery using HUD disaster recovery initiative funds (1998), and Flood plain information (1972).
