There is much to discover at the Herb Alpert School of Music. Forty-five outstanding ensembles provide students with a wealth of opportunities to excel in a wide-range of musical traditions including classical, contemporary, jazz, popular and traditional music from around the world. Under the direction of world-class performance faculty, students also premiere extraordinary new works, including those by established composers, students, faculty and alumni. Situated in a city known for its exceptionally vibrant and diverse musical communities, we attract renowned guest artists to join us on stage, and we welcome the public to attend our concerts and recitals so they may share the transformative experience of music.
