Notes and disclaimers
This is collection of maps for all areas of the game. They show you the layout of the world, the locations of NPCs, bosses, and all the hidden (and not-so-hidden) treasures. I think they are pretty self-explanatory, but if you have a question, criticism, or just want to show your appreciation, feel free to leave a comment below.

Google Drive folder with the same images [drive.google.com]

All the maps are now updated (where it was necessary) to match the current game version (v. 2.0.0.0). Do notify me if you notice any errors!
Pardoner's Vale

Pardoner's Vale is the game's main hub. You can return here when using an Obelisk, or by quitting to the main menu and loading back in. Use the Bucket O' Runes next to the Mirrorgate to travel to other worlds, or to initiate a specific Mage Hunt.
Ashbourne Village

To complete this zone, you have to kill at least 1 Mage, then talk with the tree in the center of the map.

Large parts of this zone are inaccessible in the beginning. You should return later once you collected more Inquisitor's Tools, and gained some better weapons and more levels.
Bol Gerahn

To finish this zone, talk with the wounded Mire Guard in the sewers on the left side of the map.

There are a few parts of this area that require Inquisitor's Tools found in later zones. Don't forget to return here later!
Corvius' Mire

To finish this area, activate the Luminstone Circle in the crown of the Great Tree.
Dreadstone Peak

To compete this zone, you have to kill 3 Named Mages in order to access the Falling Star. Then you have to talk with the Spellmarked Tree on the ship's prow. This should open access to both The Elder Copse and Hallowed Hill.
The Elder Copse

This is the final main zone of the game. Killing the final boss (The Undone Sacrifice) allows you to interact with the tree it was crucified onto, which triggers the ending sequences and lets you move onto New Game+. Maybe don't do that until you have explored everything else.

Also, have you noticed that the trident symbol from the loading screens is actually a stylized depiction of this area?
Hallowed Hill

To gain access to this area, you have to manually input a sequence of runes into the Mirrorgate. The sequence is revealed in The Elder Copse, in a hidden cave above the Unprofaned Lake. (The runes are on the stones and pillars of the background.)

Alternatively, enter the following runes into the Mirrorgate manually (which you'll have to do anyway). You should have all the necessary runes by the time you unlock The Elder Copse.

Heart of Altarstone

To access this zone, find and talk with the Doomsayer in the Unclean Oasis (in Bol Gerahn). Then show the key item you received to Runereader Diadela in Pardoner's Vale.

The images for Bol Gerahn and Corvius' Mire don't seem to be showing up on the guide - at least, not when I look at it? They are in the google drive folder which was very helpful, just thought I'd mention it. Thanks for a great, helpful set of maps!

Подскажите кто сможет - не можем попасть с другом в Heard of Altarstone.
Играли в коопе и разделились.. Я где то получил руны и у меня открылась эта карта, а у друга теперь недоступна. Пробежался по всем гайдам - сделали всё так же и ничего не изменилось...

I am aware of an interactive map that might be relevant to our discussion, but I am uncertain about whether it would be suitable to share it in this context. However, I feel obliged to mention that the map is not comprehensive as it lacks the final two maps. Additionally, it appears that the desired format I am looking for is not supported by the Steam guide. Here is the map i mentioned: https://xueqiumaps.cn/maps/saltandsacrifice/index.html

@Mr. Maradok This is on the to-do list. Once I finished the new map, I'll give the old ones a fresh coat of paint.

These are great, thoguh I have one nit-pick: would it be posible to change the icons slightly for Obelisks that can act as fast travel points? Maybe change their names to "Major" and "Minor" obelisk, even if that's not how they're officially named? As in, Major obelisks allow fast travel, while Minor obelisks don't.

Like I said, it's a nit-pick, you do what you want!

@nightnight Interactive in what sense? I have worked on a series of maps for Bioshock 2 that featured mouseover text and hyperlinks, but I don't think that Steam Guides has the infrastructure to support these.

Thanks for your sharing. Is it possible to make it interactive?
