Prince Naseem Hamed's sons have started training at the gym where their father famously honed his craft.

As a child in the 1980s, Naz was mentored by legendary coach Brendan Ingle at his Wincobank gym in Sheffield.

Ingle helped develop Hamed's unique style and guided him to become a unified, long-reigning featherweight world champion.

However, they endured an acrimonious split in 1997 and the Prince finished his career elsewhere.

Now, 23 years later, it appears a new bond could be forming to link the Hamed and Ingle names once again.

Though Brendan Ingle has now passed away, his son Dominic Ingle is head coach at the Wincobank.

And Hamed's sons Samir and Aadam are spending this week training there.

Samir is Naz's eldest and Aadam is his middle son. While Samir keeps his social media accounts private, Aadam regularly makes public posts about his boxing training.

Back in 2015, Naz previously said of his children: “My son, Aadam, I’ve told everybody, is going to win Wimbledon one day.

“My eldest, Sami, is 17. He’s going to be an actor, and my other son, Sulaiman, is the cutest.

“He’s the natural fighter. But I don’t want my kids to fight.

“Beyond the smile and humour, the flying carpets and all the razzmatazz, I wanted to knock someone out cold.

“If you ruffled those feathers, I really wanted to knock someone out. Why would I want a guy with that same intention standing opposite my son?”

Despite initially not wanting his children to follow in his footsteps, things have changed since and it now seems the Hamed name could once again be up in lights in the coming years.
