With another national lockdown looming over our heads, it’s only a matter of time before the banana bread factory at our house re-opens. And while we’re very prepared to be bored as hell for four whole weeks, there is a silver lining to all of this.
If there’s any time of year that the lads get dragged around the shops and have to sit through the inevitable pain of waiting for the Mrs, it’s November. But now, thanks to Boris (the only gift he ever did give us), husbands and boyfriends everywhere will finally get a break – with no more exhausting days of being dragged to “just one more shop” ahead of us. Phew.
But if you do want to rediscover the feeling of complete boredom and hopelessness, a brand new Instagram account dedicated to bored husbands and boyfriends has gone viral – with over 350K followers already. The account, named ‘Miserable Men’, is proving very popular and features an array of snaps of men waiting for their partner in shops, malls and various other places that the women like to drag their partners.
They’ve racked up over 1000 brilliant pictures of men sat waiting in various scenes, and it shouldn’t be funny, but definitely is. Lighten up your Monday morning and check out a few of our favourites below:
