This week on SpyCast, Andrew was joined by Barry Zulauf, an intelligence expert with more than 30 years' experience in the field. Barry’s previous roles include time at the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Joint Intelligence Center, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the International Association for Intelligence Education. He has taught courses in intelligence and/or conducted research at Harvard University, James Madison University, Georgetown University, Mercyhurst University, and Michigan State University.

Currently, Barry is a Defense Intelligence Officer leading the fight against the opioid epidemic in the United States. Well, you can see why we were so thrilled to have him on SpyCast to discuss his life experiences in the intelligence field. Barry is a graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Wittenberg University was named after the University of Wittenberg in Germany, a college founded in 1502. 15 years after the founding in 1517, university graduate Martin Luther would post his Nintey-Five Theses on the church door in Wittenberg, changing the course of religious and cultural history in Western Europe. And, fun fact, Erin is a direct descendant of Martin Luther!
