  • Finished fifth in the 3000m with a personal best time of 9:21.19 at the Desert Heat Classic.
  • Finished 23rd in the mile with a personal best 4:25.94 time at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.  
2018-19 Outdoor
  • Ran a personal best in the 3000m steeplechase of 9:55.63.
  • Clocked a personal best in the 1500m at the ASU Invitational with a time of 4:13.19.
  • Laced up four meets as a freshman.  
2018-19 Indoor
  • Made his MPSF debut as leg on the Sun Devil DMR team that took 11th.
  • Opened his season with back-to-back personal bests in the mile with a time of 4:44.40 at the NAU Friday Night Duals and 800m running a time of 2:00.89 at the Lumberjack Team Challenge.

High School: Was named cross country and track and field MVP for Discovery Canyon in his junior and senior seasons... Competed at the Colorado state meet in his final two seasons in the 4x800 and open 800 and 1,600-meter runs... Graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a member of the Academic Hall of Fame.

Personal: Joseph "Jojo" Dicke was born on September 24, 1999 to Curtis and Miho Dicke... He has one sister named Claire... Joseph will study Computer Science at ASU.

To find good books, good teachers, and good friends.
What was the single-biggest challenge of your life?
Climbing a mountain the dark and hearing noises that could definitely have been bears or some sort of killer animal.
