Star Singer 8 winner: Ridhu Krishna lifts the trophy; wins a flat worth Rs. 1 crore

The much-awaited winner of the iconic music show, 'Star Singer 8' is here. Singer Ridhu Krishna has lifted the trophy and has also won a flat worth Rs. 1 crore. In the grand finale, the young singer has left everyone stunned with his remarkable performances. The winner was felicitated by special guest Shreya Ghoshal and singer-judge KS Chithra.
In the final round of the competition, contestants Akhil Dev, Jerin Shaji, Arjun Unnikrishnan, Krithika S, Milan Joy, and Vishnumaya Ramesh had a tough contest.

The LIVE finale event also invited eminent playback singer Shreya Ghoshal as a guest. In the episode, Shreya was seen sharing the stage with judge and singer KS Chithra. Undoubtedly, it was indeed a treat for fans to witness the ace singers together on the same stage.
Star Singer is one of the popular music reality shows in Malayalam. The show features aspiring singers from different walks of life as contestants. The Jewel Mary-hosted show features singers KS Chithra, G Venugopal, Manjari, and musicians Sharath, Stephen Devassy as judges.

Referring to the finale as an ‘emotional’ one, G Venugopal, one of the judges, has penned a note on his social media account.
"And the final blast. It is curtains down for Star singer season 8. A very emotional grand finale. Shreya Ghoshal joins our jury panel," he wrote sharing a picture from the finale.
