Piece of history: A look at original agreement of Sir Kenny Dalglish's signing for Liverpool

This paper, as shared by u/RejwanMiahXO on Reddit, shows the original agreement that saw Sir Kenny Dalglish join Liverpool in 1977.

As opposed to the complex contracts of today's game, the agreement is simply written, saying, "On behalf of Celtic Football Club, I (Jock Stein), manager, agree to the transfer of our player, Kenneth Dalglish, to Liverpool Football Club.

"The fee of four hundred thousand pound, £400,000 to be payable on one month from this date (10/7/77)."

King Kenny would go on to make his debut on August 13th, 1977 and settled in quickly on his way to becoming one of Liverpool's most iconic players.

Dalglish would go on to score around 170 goals for the club, helping Liverpool dominate both in England as well as Europe.
