My Life in the Bush of Ghosts is a collab album between Brian Eno & David Byrne, released in February 1981. It was recorded throughout 1979-1980 at various studios across NYC, Burbank & San Francisco.
It served as Byrne's first album without Talking Heads and was recorded before him & Eno worked on Talking Heads' album Remain in Light, but sampling issues caused it to be delayed for several months.

God the sounds merged together here are overwhelming, yet they’re so undeniably unique and flavoursome. This is an album I could see really growing on me in time.

ENO DEEP DIVE #13
I was very interested in this collaboration with Byrne, because I'm a huge fanboy of the Talking Head records produced by Eno. I didn't have huge expectations, but My Life in the Bush of Ghosts turned out to be a pleasent surprise.
The soundscape created is very similar to that of Remains in Light, so people who loved that album and want more in the same direction, should give this a try. Especially tracks like Help Me Somebody and The Jezebel Spirit really remindend of that ... read more
