Central Illinois Mobile Boot Shop

I recently started shooting product photos and creating content images for Paige from No Roots Boots. Paige owns a mobile leather goods and boot shop based in Central IL. She sells online and at markets in her Airstream, Pearl. Paige is a self proclaimed sizing tip queen and has an eye for the most gorgeous pieces—boots, bags, accessories, and all. She truly brings the western to Central Illinois and has a superior talent of designing the most stunning, unique, and “rowdy” boots you can find! I love the creativity I get to bring to her content photos and the way the product photography takes her website to goddess tier!!

We shoot at her NRB (No Roots Boots) headquarters, Berch House (as it is affectionately called). Berch House is an old farm house that Paige redid (the talent!!) and now uses to pack orders, host pop ups, and as the most perfect backdrop for content photoshoots. Paige tends to give me allllll the creative freedom and we created some magic. We went for a grainy vintage film look with one of our most recent shoots (shout out to the pair of pantyhose over my lens) and, oh man, it was so good. It ended up being the perfect way to encapsulate the No Roots Boots brand. We paraded around the Berch House property tucking wildflowers into Paige’s boots, showing off the Airstream, and capturing the NRB brand in all its glory. It should probably be a crime to have that much fun at work, but it makes me love my job all that much more.

Everything that Paige does gives me all the inspiration I may ever need. I left all of our shoots with the biggest smile and an irresistible urge to redo my entire home. I love that I get to be a part of the Central Illinois small biz community. It is full of the most driven, kind-hearted, and hard working people. Getting to create for them? My heart = on fire.
