In keinem ihrer Gastarbeitsländer werden sie jemals ein gesellschaftliches Mitglied. Sie werden in ihrem neuen Umfeld als auch zu Hause, sozial ausgegrenzt oder sogar bewusst schikaniert. Die Fahrten von zu Hause bis zu ihren Arbeitsplätzen und zurück, sind bedroht von enormen Kosten als auch Gefahren für Gesundheit und Leben. Niemand bezahlt die Kosten für Arbeitswege, Schäden, den Verschleiß oder die Kommunikation mit den Familienangehörigen und Freunden. Das Schlimmste ist, dass sie mit ihren Kollegen unter Konkurrenz gesetzt werden, womit ihre Arbeits- und Sozialrechte noch zusätzlich bedroht oder ausgehebelt werden.
