Steven I. Apfelbaum

Steven I. Apfelbaum Ecologist, ecosystem researcher, pilot, wilderness traveler, gardener/orchardist, and writer. Steve has contributed to thousands of studies and ecological restorations around the world. For nearly 40 years he has traveled no further than his back yard (see book, "Natures Second Chance") an 80 acre derelict dairy farm in southern Wisconsin. Here, and on research and restoration projects from remote wilderness areas on earth, to client projects in Chicago, he has learned and has now shared with co-author Dr Alan Haney, (See "Restoring ecological health to your land" book series) what they have learned over 40 years of working on restoration projects.
