Is there this: endless growth?
There is an alarm mood in Europe - we fear for our hard-earned prosperity. Unrestrained growth has led us into a deep crisis, but if you believe the politicians, the only way out of it is growth.
Christine Ax and Friedrich Hinterberger have strong doubts that "always more" is also "always better". They explain where the growth enthusiasm in the past came from, conclusively refute the common credo that without endless growth, they show why growth is no longer a timely answer to the current problems. In a future-oriented society, we can create jobs, organise education and care, combat poverty and stop climate change - this is what the two economic experts make this understandable using examples and quite entertaining even economic laymen. Her book is above all a great encouragement: we need not be afraid of the future. We won't have more, but live better!

Lesenswert.
