Wanier Vaccari

Wanier Vaccari (Born 1949) is active/lives in Italy.  Wanier Vaccari is known for Modernist painting of action figures, portrait drawings.

Self-taught in painting, Vaccari received his first solo exhibition in 1971 at the La Sfera gallery in Modena. Stimulated by the works of Neue Sachlichkeit and Pittura Metafisica, his painting changed to figurative in 1975.

Around 1982 he met the art dealer Emilio Mazzoli, who subsequently dedicated several solo exhibitions to him. Others followed in the Wyss Gallery, Zurich, and in the Thomas Levy Gallery in Hamburg. In 1994 he received a large solo exhibition at the Museum Galleria Civica in Modena.
