Publisher's summary

These men killed mine, and for that, they have to die

Bristlebrook is up in smoke, my brutes are dead, and Sam’s camp is a powder keg begging for a flame.

Injured and furious over their losses, the surviving hunters are preoccupied with their own problems. Their factions and allegiances. Their internal wars and pissing contests. The new world they want to forge. They don’t look twice at their meek little captive.

They shattered my heart five ways when they killed my brutes, so I don’t care anymore. If I’m to stop the villains, I need to become one.

I need to be smart. I need to be ruthless.

Even if it means razing myself to the ground to do it . . .

We’re bringing her home, or we’re not coming home

They took our librarian from right under our noses—and with Lucky injured, Bristlebrook in flames, and our personal problems finally spilling over, we’re fracturing.

But we need to be better.

Bringing Eden home is the most important mission of our lives.

Followed closely by the second most important . . . building her a home worth returning to.

***
The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy romance series, and Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my listeners’ nerves. Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, MM in the harem, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some listeners may find sensitive.

This book is a big boy at over 180k words and deals with a lot of heavy content. I promise it gets brighter as it goes on (you know... mostly). Please see my website for TWs - your mental health matters.

Brilliant second installment, you need to hear it!

This is the second installment in the Brutes of Bristlebrook series, and I was blown away! The narration team of Avery Caris, Rose Dioro, Joe Arden, Sebastian York, Teddy Hamilton, JF Harding, Jason Clarke, and Zachary Webber truly brought this second book in the Brutes of Bristlebrook series to life. Each narrator added a unique layer of depth and emotion to the story, making the complex world of post-apocalyptic romance more vivid and immersive. Their ability to convey intense emotions, from the dark thematic elements to the steamy romantic interludes, was nothing short of phenomenal. I was particularly impressed with how each character's voice was distinct and full of personality, pulling me deeper into the story. This audiobook has undoubtedly set the bar high, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next in the series!

Wowza

The best Audiobook cast ever to perform Rebecca’s books. I have been on edge, angry, laughing, crying, breathless, wanting to kill and so much more! Eden’s choice have consequences and the people she loves will suffer. In this new world there is only the good and evil with no in between. Peace, harmony and love always come at a cost. I can’t wait to see what the Sinners will be up to next. And will Eden and her men recover. Will their love keep them together.

Damn!

Totally a fan of this series. I can’t believe I have to wait for the book. Gawwww. My only complaint is there’s too much inner dialogue by Eden. She can be a bit overwhelming with her slow growth to the point of stupidity.

Stellar performances by all the narrators. Best ever!

My HEART

This series has such a hold on me. I LOVED how long this audiobook was. The characters cracked me up with their quips, and I’m not ashamed to say I cried multiple times while listening at the gym. And the SPICE 🥵🥵 It’s just the perfect cast with the perfect story. I have no idea how I’ll be able to wait until the next book!!

It's the Narrators That Make this Story Pop

Entangled takes the amazing cast of Ensnared and adds on even more top notch talent; Rose Dioro, Zachary Webber, Connor Crais, and Gregory Salinas. It's been awhile since I've listened to Rose and I forgot how much I enjoy her performances, definitely need to do some rearranging of my TBL. This was my first Gregory Salinas book, and while his role is small in a book that almost 22 hours long, I would definitely like to checkout more of his work. The narrators really bring the feels to life in this book, the character's vulnerability is palpable. I also felt I got to see a new level of Connor's acting.

This was definitely darker than Ensnared, so check the TWs on the author's website. Story wise, I was hoping to see more character growth/development because there wasn't a lot in Ensnared. While I didn't get anything even close to the character growth I was looking for, there was some relationship growth between the men themselves and Eden and some of her men (we see a lot of vulnerability). Eden's naivete is getting on my nerves, there pretty much was no character growth; she keeps making the same mistakes over and over. For a book as long as this, the spice doesn't happen to almost the 50% mark. While it makes complete sense for the plot, for why chose, I was just expecting a lot more spice, though when you get it, it's 5 stars. The story is more of a 2.5 star situation, and I wanted to like it more, but there is way too much going on; too many story arcs, dialogue and inner monologues were too repetitive, too many tertiary characters, some of which don't really move the story forward as individuals. Maybe they'll play a bigger role in the final book or the author is setting us up for some major heartbreak.

Stellar book, stellar audio performances!

What do you get when you take one of the most riveting, post-apocalyptic why choose romance reads of 2023 and marry it with an all-star full-cast of voice actors? ENTANGLED.

Blue Nose Audio has produced yet another powerhouse audiobook from Rebecca Quinn's Book 2 in her Brutes of Bristlebrook series. The voice actors are a veritable who's who in the romance audiobook industry.

Avery Caris' performance as Eden is breathtaking. She beautifully embodies every emotion, every high and low, every wistful moment, every gasp, every contented sigh. Entangled is Eden's book, and Caris is in her element.

Joe Arden voices Dr. Beau, the suave Southern gentleman pleasure dom. As a G.R.I.T. myself, Arden's honey butter drippin' growly voice sent me clutching for pearls I wasn't even wearing! He will forever be Jeau to me, but his range of side characters and his Bentley made me excited for Book 3 and beyond!

Teddy Hamilton as Jasper the sadist is my favorite voice acting performance of Hamilton's to date. Stern, cruelly kind, and utterly devoted to both his darling girl and dear boy, the precision with which Hamilton's Jasper cuts deep is exquisitely haunting.

J.F. Harding's Lucky will live in my heart forever. Harding brings to life Lucky's humor, wit, brattiness, and deepest longings in heart aching ways. I just want to hug him hard.

Jason Clarke's performance as moody loner mechanic Jaykob sends shivers up my spine every. single. time. Only this book, we get not just hot, annoyed Jayk, we get Clarke's vulnerable Jayk, big brother Jayk, and yes, even sweetly protective Jayk.

Sebastian York's Dominic pulled at every heartstring I had. York nailed the gruff, alphahole team leader carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders while subtly, intently, and gently wooing his little librarian, Eden.

Rose Dioro as Madison was music to my ears. Her tough yet vulnerable Madison made me both laugh and cry and continue to play in my head days later. Her young, spunky Kasey was also a treat!

Connor Crais, Gregory Salinas, and Zachary Webber round out our cast of newly introduced characters as Sinners Alastair, Mateo, and Sam. To a man, each evoked exactly what I had pictured in my mind's ear when reading, and I am excited for their performances in Book 3 and beyond.

Finally, let's just all take a moment here to acknowledge that as INCREDIBLY talented as this cast is, none of these performances would be possible without Quinn's writing.

Quinn is a master wordsmith, drawing the reader in, taking us through every brutiful emotion...we angst, cry, laugh, pine, empathize, cheer, become incensed, clutch our pearls, fan ourselves and everything in between.

Be sure to download and listen to Ensnared: Book 1 as the main cast is the same and you won't want to miss the deliciousness of two books with such delectable voices!
