Made from sycamore, decorated with paint and penwork depicting several spa destinations, the scene to the lid with a finely delineated border of trailing wheat and grapes rendered in gilt. The four inner boxes containing Chinese engraved mother-o-pearl counters.
Made as a souvenir circa 1790.
