A straw blond lager known for its diminuitive hop character. Delicately spicy and herbal, yet refined, this lovely pils has a touch of biscuit and honey flavors from the German varietal malts.

Pours a pale straw golden, with white head. Fresh cut grass on the nose. It's grass forward, lightly skunky hop notes. Refreshing but not really my favorite German pils.

Pours a clear straw color with a half inch of tight, foamy white head. Head falls to a nice cap that persists. Fueled by a steady stream of bubbles from the bottom of the glass.
The aroma is inviting. Floral, herbal, earthy, slight honey sweetness, grassy hay.
Malty biscuit up front with a slightly sweet flavor. Herbal, slight lemon twist, a little dab of honey, grassy bitterness, very clean and refreshing. There's a little peppery spice at the end of the taste that us pleasantly unobtrusive.
Feel is medium. Carbonation is somewhat lively.
Overall, big flavors in a very drinkable beer that is not heavy at all. It might be described as delicate and refined, but I think it goes to 11 in terms if flavor. Well done, worthy brew.

From a 16oz can, dated 05/06/21. Served in a willi becher.
Pours a brilliantly clear straw-gold with a big, fluffy, merengue-like head of foam. Retention is only just pretty good but leaves a thick, sudsy cap and some spotty lacing. Busy carbonation tapers off quickly to a few sleepy bubbles.
Aroma is robust, grassy, flowery and earthy. Chamomile flowers, honey, and hay so thick it could make you sneeze.
The nose makes me expect dry and bitter but instead delivers a sweet and biscuity malty wash, followed quickly enough by ample grassy bitterness. Tasting Hawaiian sweet roll and honey. Hay/dry grass, diatomaceous earth, faint lemon pith and subtle white pepper.
Feel is medium bodied, bready and chewy but with bright, biting carbonation.
Overall, a delicious, hugely flavorful pils! Where the brewer’s notes promise ‘delicately spicy and herbal, yet refined’ I would have described it as ‘flavor intensity dial cranked hard over to the right and jammed down with a brick,’ at least relative to what I associate with the style. At any rate, this four-pack will be gone quite quickly.
