Mutatis Mutandis is a Medieval Latin phrase meaning “the neccessary changes having been made” or “once the necessary changes have been made”.
Here, we are comparing the metamorphosis of a simple egg into a beautiful butterfly with female foeticide and other challenges that a girl child faces in our society. How as an egg, life seems full of limitless possibilities and uncertainties. The biggest uncertainty that a girl child faces is whether she will be allowed to live at all or not.
