It's almost time for a set of major clashes in the heavyweight division. The year is coming to a close and Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are ready to deliver the some final highlights. Joshua is set to face Otto Wallin while Wilder is set to face Joseph Parker in co-headlining spots at the "Day of Reckoning" PPV event in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night (live on DAZN beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET --subscribe now).

Joshua, 34, is set for his third appearance of 2023 after consecutive wins over Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius. The victories helped to ease the pain from consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, who took his unified heavyweight titles in the process. Wilder, meanwhile, has not fought since a first-round knockout of Helenius in October 2022, which was his first fight since closing the trilogy with Tyson Fury where he lost his WBC crown.

A win for both men sets up a long-awaited clash that dates back to when both first held titles in 2015. Wilder says there is no extra pressure on him to get the job done on Saturday night.

"I think a win makes it look great on paper for both of us [in terms of] fighting each other," Wilder said during Monday's "Morning Kombat" interview. "But it's no added pressure on my end. Maybe for Joshua, there's more pressure for him than I because I know what I'm coming to do. I'm blessed with God-given power and it's natural. There is nothing I have to inject my body with. There is no type of contaminated meat that I have to eat to make me feel some kind of way. I don't have to alter my gloves in any way, it's all natural to me."

In addition to the pair of top fights, a litany of top talents are in action in the heavyweight division. Daniel Dubois is set to do battle with Jarrell Miller, rising prospect Arslanbek Makhmudov is set for a showdown with Agit Kabayel and Frank Sanchez will take on Junior Fa. Plus, WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol is set for his lone appearance of 2023 when he takes on Lyndon Arthur.

"I think we had six weeks and the card was put together quickly," Hearn told CBS Sports this week. "By the way, I think Otto Wallin is a very dangerous fight six weeks out. [Joshua] is in there with a southpaw who is just coming off a victory over [former cruiserweight titleholder Murat] Gassiev. And Joseph Parker is full of confidence and Wilder has been out for a long time.

"But, look, the reason they are fighting on the same card and the reason we are all going to Saudi Arabia is that we want to make Joshua and Wilder in Saudi Arabia. But everybody wants that fight to happen and if they both win on [Saturday] there is a great chance that you see what I think is the biggest fight in boxing."
