September 19, 2023 - #01-22, 8% abv. High acid, light, and zippy. Tons of electric tension. Leans towards a drier style of Kabinett but nonetheless plenty drinkable and approachable. Fantastic, especially at the price point.

March 25, 2023 - A nice, zippy, light-as-a-feather, wispy kabinett. Nice acidity with apples, grapefruit and cool green herb notes. The finish was a bit on the short side, but very nice overall.

December 11, 2022 - It has the high '21 acidity, but it is nicely integrated with the elegant white fruit and the sweetness on the palate. It only really gets mouth-puckering on the incredible long, minerally finish. Class in a glass.

October 16, 2022 - OK, now this is something special. In his last vintage, Daniel Vollenweider’s namesake winery produced some absolutely beautiful wines and this was no exception.
It started off with an ethereal quality that floated and fluttered like a feather. Delicate notes of apple and wet slate made this filigreed Kabi utterly enchanting with the purity of a mountain stream.
What made me even more excited was the energy and weight that seemed to slowly build with air. Not in a way that altered the overall elegance of the wine, but more like a steady drumbeat of hidden energy that makes me very excited for the future ahead. As the wine opened, the level of acidity and tang grew with mouthwatering notes of salinity and piquant grapefruit. The long and spicy finish perfectly kept me hooked into the experience and made me come back to the glass again and again.

September 17, 2022 - #01-22, 8% abv. Herbal notes on the nose, with some clear sponti tones as well. Not too fruit-driven, this is definitely of a mineral bent. On the palate, plenty of electricity from the acidity; with again more herbal notes (citrus leaf definitely comes to mind), and lots of malic acidity. Very classical in sweetness, this is what I imagine an older-styled Kabinett would taste like on release. Delicious, exciting, zippy stuff.
