The German Bundeswehr has differed way off from Prussian tradition and I long to make them use the goose step, high step, stechschritt, whatever you want to call it.  The petition includes also adding visor caps for officers and jodhpurs for officers, one more thing is bringing back swords, daggers, and high leather boots. There has been a pledge in the Bundeswehr to stick to Prussian tradition, if anyone looks at paintings and pictures of the Prussian army you will see that the bundeswehr looks nothing like it in any way.  They need to get rid of the berets since they are French and are not Prussian.  They should bring back parades and stationary bands so the band does not have to march all of the time. They should use the Stalhelm again instead of the ugly berets and not use the weird looking protocolhelm.  The excuse Germany makes for not implementing any of these things is that the NVA or East German Army used these thing. That argument has no base, for Prussia also used them!  I would really like to se glory brought back to the German Army and we need to help them get back into line.  The NVA marches nothing like Prussians they marched with a clenched fist whilst Prussia marches with an open hand.  The NVA and Wehrmacht also used the step the Bundeswehr uses now so that further reinforces the fact that their argument has no base. Bring glory back to the Budeswehr and save the look of Germany’s Military!
