The world’s flagship spa operator has unveiled ambitious plans to create Germany’s largest wellbeing resort.
Together with their strategic partner Wund Holding, Therme Group has revealed proposals to create a ground-breaking wellbeing resort in Frankfurst. It’s the latest location to be announced as part of Therme Group’s global development programme, after Therme Manchester was given the greenlight in 2020.
To maintain Therme’s bespoke theme, the resort will feature hundreds of water-based activities and wellbeing treatments which will be combined with art, nature and technology. The key focus will be to boost physical and mental wellbeing to all who visit.
A range of health-driven initiatives are set to be implemented, including a biodiverse ecosystem which includes more than 1800 palm trees and thousands of other plants.
Advanced mineral and thermal pools are teased to be featured next to the relaxation areas. There will also be saunas, private therapy rooms and abundance of wellbeing activities. Guests will also be able to enjoy some timeout with an expansive menu of healthy F&B options.

Commenting, Robert Hanea, CEO and Chairman of Therme Group said: “In a place long known for its healing waters, this wellbeing resort will help to revive a thermal bathing culture stretching back to the Romans’ arrival in the area almost two thousand years ago. Along with Therme Manchester and other worldwide projects, it will elevate our concept to a new level, furthering our aim to redefine wellbeing for communities worldwide.”
Construction is set to begin within a year, with opening scheduled for 2023. Its projected more than 1.3 million guests will enjoy the resort each year.
