Founded in 1976 our company with its own production facilities in Velbert stands for quality, innovation and precision in everything to do with precision engineering.

We develop and manufacture manipulators, linear and cross tables, vacuum components, CNC turned parts, CNC milled parts and gearwheels

Among others, we work for customers from the areas of scanning electron microscopy, science & research, materials testing and mechanical engineering.

Founded in 1976 as an one-man operation Feinmechanik Ulrich Klein GmbH rapidly developed into a highly capable precision engineering company that employs more than 50 technicians and specialists in Velbert today. One of the main fields of activity is the development and manufacture of manipulators for scanning electron microscopy.

Development

In our own design office all single parts, assemblies and devices are developed according to our customers’ specifications. Short communication channels between customer service, design and production department enable an extremely efficient project management.

Manufacturing

On the most modern CNC machining centers we manufacture almost all of the individual parts required for our devices. We process all machinable metals and technical plastics. The use of the latest 3D measuring devices and measuring equipment ensures that all demands on the high precision and quality of the production parts are met.

Cleaning

In our high-performance cleaning system the manufactured parts are freed from all manufacturing residues in several cleaning and rinsing processes and are vacuum-dried afterwards.

Assembly

The assembly of our devices by our experienced and highly qualified employees takes place -depending on the requirements- in a very clean assembly room under almost clean room-like conditions.

Final testing

After their assembly the manufactured devices are subjected to extensive tests and specification checks. We provide test reports on request. Only flawless devices get into shipping.

Packaging and logistics

For our sensitive products we have developed needs-based packaging that protect against damage and contamination during transport. An empties exchange system from and to our customers has been implemented for many products.
