Watch out Elon, Zuck means business.

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg is training the house down, judging by a photo of the tech guru with UFC champions Israel Adesanya and Alex Volkanovski.

On Wednesday, Adesanya posted photos of Zuckberg training with the two UFC teammates and it’s safe to say the Facebook boss is looking in great shape.

Adesanya wrote: “No fugazi with Mark. This is Serious Business‼️”

Zuckerberg commented on Instagram: “It’s an honor to train with you guys!”

It’s unclear when the photo was taken but Adesanya and Volkanovski were in Las Vegas last weekend as the Australian successfully defended his featherweight title against Yair Rodriguez.

Adesanya was also in attendance and confronted South African Dricus du Plessis after he called out the middleweight champion following his upset win over Aussie Rob Whittaker.

Respected MMA commentator Ariel Helwani commented: “Dang Zuck is ripped.”

The photos will only fuel speculation Zuckerberg is very serious about fighting Musk in a “cage fight”.

Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage match on social media last month, and it might be a case of be careful what you wish for, Elon.

The rivalry between the tech gurus has ramped up in recent weeks after Zuckberg launched Threads — an app that is very similar to Twitter and one that users have flocked to as Twitter’s popularity continues to plummet under Musk’s leadership.

An MMA fight between Zuckerberg (boss of Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp & Threads) and Musk (Tesla, Space X and Twitter) would draw massive interest and settle the rivalry between the tech bosses once and for all.

Volkanovski told news.com.au Zuckberg is “serious” about fighting Musk and would definitely take on the fight.

“I got a feeling it could happen!” Volkanovski said.

“They’re pretty serious about. I know Mark’s pretty serious about it anyway. I think it could happen. It’s pretty cool they’re even talking about it.

“I don’t think it is just for hype. I know for a fact Mark would definitely do it.”

Asked who he would be backing in a battle of the tech lords, Volkanovski replied: “I got Zuck.”

Earlier this year, Zuckerberg took part in his first jiu-jitsu martial arts tournament and went home with silver and gold medals.

“Competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu team,” Zuckerberg wrote.

The 39-year-old tech billionaire told an interviewer last year that he began studying martial arts during the coronavirus pandemic.
