Help my Palestinian Family IN NEED

Sarah's Story:
My Name is Sarah Zughbor, I am a 17 years old girl with a dream. I am 1 of 6 family members. with 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and my Single-Mother. My dad has passed away when I was 5 Years Old. I have just graduated Highschool, full of excitement to start a higher educational journey in the health and science field. However, my short lived dream was demolished when the conflict between Gaza and Israel took place. My mother is a single mother that has to take care of 5 children all alone.

As many have, we were forced to relocate from North Gaza into the Middle of Gaza and then into the South of Gaza. After living a somewhat decent life, I now live in a very small tent in RAFAH. I have recently experienced the devastating loss of my home. It has been an incredibly challenging time for me, as I find myself without a place to call my own, a sanctuary where I can feel safe and secure. Losing my home has left me feeling vulnerable and uncertain about the future. The thought of rebuilding seems like an insurmountable task, both emotionally and financially.

I have not experienced real PAIN until I had to see my Single-Mothers Tears shed down her cheeks every single night for the past 4 months. but having to force a smile every time we speak to her, in order to give us (HER CHILDREN) hope for a better tomorrow. But deep in her watery eyes, you can feel the worry of whether or not we will be alive tomorrow.

I have lost memories that my dad has left behind, that I could never get back.
I have lost hope for a better future.
I have lost a smile that used to bright everyone's day. A smile that I never thought would wipe off my face is now a memory that I might never regain.

Ahmed's Story:
My name is Ahmad Zughbor, and I am 22 years old, the eldest son of Rania, a Palestinian citizen from Gaza City. Currently, I find myself trapped in a harrowing reality—a reality where survival is a daily battle amidst a complete siege, with no access to basic necessities like food or water. Every day, I bear witness to the unimaginable atrocities of war crimes and genocide being committed against my people and loved ones.

In this tumultuous landscape, I have endured profound losses. I have mourned the deaths of family members and watched helplessly as the house I once called home, the only place where I felt safe, was reduced to rubble by the relentless airstrikes. My heart aches with the weight of these losses, compounded by the fact that my siblings and I are now orphans, left to fend for ourselves after our father perished in a similar airstrike in 2010.

The challenges we face are daunting. With no means of income, the prospect of rebuilding our lives and our shattered home seems like an impossible feat. Even once the war is over, the road to survival in the decimated Gaza Strip will be fraught with obstacles. As someone who once harbored dreams of becoming an engineer, it is a bitter irony to now find myself living on the streets, stripped of hope and opportunity.

All I ask for is a chance to rebuild what has been taken from us. A chance to reclaim a semblance of normalcy for myself and my family. If you find it in your heart to offer assistance, no matter how small, please do not hesitate to donate. Your generosity could mean the difference between a life lived on the streets and a future filled with hope and possibility.

I am reaching out to kind-hearted individuals like yourself, who may be willing to extend a helping hand during this difficult period.I understand that times are tough for everyone, and I genuinely appreciate your consideration. If you are unable to contribute financially, please know that your support and encouragement mean the world to me. If you know of any other individuals or organizations who might be willing to assist, I would be grateful if you could share my story with them.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my plea. Your compassion and generosity have the power to make a profound impact on my life, and I am forever grateful for any assistance you can provide. Together, we can rebuild not just a physical structure, but also the hope and resilience that lies within.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Rania and her Children
