Please help while I recover from breast cancer

Hello, my name is Teri. Last summer I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I've had a lumpectomy and radiation treatment which I am still recovering from. Unfortunately I have developed some neurological problems at the end of my treatment which are affecting my mobility. My legs have gotten weak and I am having balance issues which make me a falling risk. Because of this, I have had to take a medical leave of absence from my job.

I've had two MRI'S (brain and spinal) and lab work to try and identify the problem. We believe that this was caused by a combination of vitamin deficiency and the radiation having an effect on my nervous system. I have been in physical therapy to try to correct this problem for the last month and a half and it looks like I'll continue therapy for at least a few months more. My therapist says I am showing improvement, however I still have a long road ahead of me.

I currently receive SSDI, but it leaves me about $250 dollars short every month. My rent takes the majority of my monthly check, and electricity takes the rest. I have a part time job that helped make up the difference, but I have depleted my sick time and having to take a leave of absence has put me in a bad position financially. I'm lucky that my insurance has covered much of my medical expenses but I am currently unable to get my prescriptions filled (I have no prescription coverage) or afford to do my laundry and pay my other bills. I've made this GoFundMe in the hope of staying afloat until I recover and can return to work.
