Support for Amy and Walter Zuschlag

Rob was a beloved son and brother, a wonderful husband, loyal friend, hard worker and most importantly a devoted and loving father. He was creative and witty with a profound love for his country and most certainly will be missed by all who knew him.

Rob made his parents and siblings proud on a daily basis and his steadfast nature along with his perseverance was one that could not be matched. Breakfast dates with his wife Amy and quiet dinners cooked at home, were simple times well spent. Co-workers of Rob could count on seeing him at the station, driving his truck with a friendly smile. Whether it be a wall to be built, a piece of furniture needing to be moved or a plate of wings to be shared, Rob’s friends would describe him more as a brother than merely just a friend.

Lastly but certainly not least, Rob’s love for his son, Walter, was immeasurable. From morning snacks at the bus stop corner, adding badges to a growing collection and to reading books to stuffed animal friends, Rob and Walter’s bond was unbreakable. The two shared a love of legos and movies and trains and treehouses. Dog walks and video games, hiking adventures and serious nerf battles, the list could go on but sadly only now the memories of these sweet father and son moments remain.

Amy and Walter lost their husband and father far too soon. Your donations will help ease some of the burden over the next few months as they try to navigate this new world without Rob in it. Even though we can not go back in time we hope this will help them both as they try and move forward.
