17th Training Wing Spotlight: Senior Airman Justin Abresch

Senior Airman Justin Abresch, 17th Communications Squadron client systems technician, was selected as the 17th Training Wing Spotlight, December 7. He was recognized for his efforts in restoring mobile phone support and working with his squadron during the intel course rewrite. 

1. How does your job support the 17th TRW's mission?

My job supports the 17th TRW mission by providing communication support to ensure the proper movement of trainees through their respective pipelines.

2. What do you find most rewarding about your work?

I find knowing that every action I do helps foster and improve the lives of our future airmen the most rewarding part of my job.

3. What has been your biggest challenge in the military, and how did you overcome that challenge?

My biggest challenge was helping set up Lt. Gen. Marshall Webb, Air Education and Training Command commander, and his team with the intel course rewrite. Overcoming it took a joint effort with everyone in my squadron working together to get it done.

4. What has been your most memorable experience in the military?

My most memorable experience was getting promoted to senior airman. It showed my leadership trusted me, and I was ready for the next step in my career.

5. What is one piece of information or advice you would like to pass on?

What you put into the Air Force is what you get out of it.
