BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Location • Dystopian Chicago
Factions • 5 separate groups w/ specific virtues that they each live around
Citizens must choose to stay with their original faction or choose a new one at age 16, after taking the Aptitude test
Aptitude test • Test that determines the faction you will most likely let be fit for
Factionless • Faction "less" or without a faction
Reason can be because of failure to complete initiation into a faction or
member chooses to leave faction because they don't agree with the faction(s) beliefs/virtues
Divergent • Citizens who get multiple results (for recommended factions) on the aptitude test, are aware during stimulation, can also can mean they are GP (genetically pure)

Amity • The Peaceful
Candor • The Honest
Dauntless • The Brave
Erudite • The Intelligent
PLACES/ THINGS MENTIONED IN PRESENTATION:
The Fence • Surrounds the cities border, patrolled by Dauntless guards
The Hub • Located in the center of the city, where the Choosing Ceremony is held
The Factions • Abnegation, Amity, Candor, Dauntless, Erudite
Factionless Sector • Between Abnegation Sector & Upper-level schools, where the Factionless live
The Abnegation • Abnegation faction/sector- gov.
Erudite Headquarters • Where the erudite work
Dauntless Dining Hall • Where the Dauntless eat their daily meals
The Trains • Main source of transportation for Dauntless (only Dauntless are able to ride them)
Dauntless • Members in the faction Dauntless
Dauntless initiation • test initiates physical, emotional, and mental skills to determine if they are fit to be proper Dauntless members
