Self portrait in studio / 2021

Ina Ytter is a Helsinki based multimediartist interested in spaces, situations, ambiance, available / found / ready made materials and all things pink / shiny / analogue / fluffy.

They (totally queer!) graduated as a Master of Design for Performing Arts from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2017 and have since been working with photography, theatre, documentary film, TV, as well as space and ambiance design.

With postcapitalist and ecofeminist values Ytter is currently applying circular economy to fine arts, functional art like packaging and fashion, installation, happenings, live art and performance, while constructing a research question around the integration of artistic and aesthetic praxis into the every day functional reality in order to enhance humanitary and planetary wellbeing.

“Bettering environments atmosphere by atmosphere.”
