A nine-year-old boy in Rajasthan died by suicide on Thursday. According to his uncle, he had been watching videos on YouTube that allegedly depicted "easy ways to die" before he ended his life.

The boy who was in sixth grade was found dead at his house by his family members on Thursday morning.

According to his relatives, he was alone at home as his family members were out visiting neighbours and his siblings were playing outdoors.

The boy had celebrated his birthday on December 11, his family said.

A police official said that the authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the boy's death.
