Looks like an improved version of the already in serviced WJ8 hypersonic drone. Its speed is 0-7 Mach, 0 means it can take off and accelerate to 7 Mach by it self, unlike WJ8 dropped by another bomber. 8000 km range with 600kg payload is impressive. After breakthrough in hypersonic speed, PLA also begin to enter adjacent space.

SR72 can destroy the F22 and F35 as it flies hypersonic. China can save pilots life by using this kind of kamikaze drones. J20 with twin seaters can certainly manage the multiple loyal wingman consisting of these kamikaze drones.

I know that is the black bird, very old design. But the Chinese hypersonic kamikaze drone has no tail wing and it is unmanned drone. Totally different than the black bird.

It's a stretch to call this a drone, it's more of a guided missile. It has a rocket engine which means limited range and air time. Also it might be fast, but in order to hit a modern fighter jet it has to he highly maneuverable, and it doesn't appear to be such.

So this Chinese drone will go double as fast as the Mach 3.4 American SR72.
