Her family is disappointed when comparing Kim's missing case to others in regard to resources. They feel her disappearance has not garnered the same size search parties nor media attention.
"It's extremely frustrating," Lisa said. "It's sad, it's hurtful."
Their mother is also being impacted, both emotionally and physically as the family continues to await answers.
"My mom is dealing with this," Lisa said. "Her birthday is [this] March and she doesn't want to celebrate her birthday because it's hurtful to her."
Another sensitive topic for the family is thinking back to Lisa's last phone conversation with her sister. Kim was heard on the phone arguing with a man.
"She was yelling with him a little bit," Lisa said. "And the phone just disconnected."

Lisa said she was told police officers spoke with Kim after the strange phone call. Then she apparently left the police station.
Moments later, she was last seen at a nearby train station; Wearing blue jeans, a Nirvana sweatshirt with a black backpack.
"She was on camera, they dropped her off at the police station," Lisa said. "The camera saw her walk over the bridge at east union or some street, then after that the camera never caught her again."
The family has waiting more than 1,100 days with no updates. Kim has not been sighted and there are no known leads to come out in the disappearance case.
"We have no idea what happened," Lisa said.
