Alte Opel-Rennbahn "Am Schönauer Hof"

The former Opel racetrack was unfortunately neglected for decades and not treated as a sight. After all, nature was able to develop freely in the area left to itself.

The viewing platform is well worth a visit. Somewhat hidden in the forest, it offers at least a small impression and a view of a cleared section of the racetrack. The signs about the history of the old Opel test track and racetrack are informative.
