  • Well restored castle shown in the foundation walls. This part of the building was the chapel with a hinted altar and organ - which can even be played on -

  • The reconstructed floor plan of the church (station 1) certainly forms the heart of the medieval castle area. Those who want to discover even more can follow an enchanted, rooty single trail behind the benches, where you will find stations 2 to 6 in the area of the former castle courtyard:
    - a residential and farm building
    - the castle fountain
    - a square (half-timbered) building, possibly the horse stables
    - another building, maybe a barn
    - a former pond
    In the south of the church you can still guess a castle wall.
    In the direction of the forest path you pass the medieval moat (station 8), a sinkhole (station 9) that was part of the moat, and a wall moat ring (station 10) that completely surrounded the Elmsburg.
    Further stops are the barrows (station 11) and the foundling Goldener Hirsch (station 12), which you should definitely see.
