In antibody drug development, lead optimization is a crucial phase that often determines whether the therapy is likely to succeed in the clinic. Traditionally a time-consuming and costly process, antibody lead optimization efforts can be greatly enhanced with #AI. In a new blog post, written by our specialists: Maciej Jasinski and Joanna Marczyńska-Grzelak, we summarize the latest developments in AI tools for antibody improvement. Using real-world examples, we highlight three main ways AI can enhance lead optimization efforts based on the type of input data: ✔ Antibody sequence only. ✔ Sequence and structure. ✔ Sequence, structural, and target data. Learn how you can take advantage of the power of AI for antibody improvement and maximize the efficiency of your lead optimization efforts. This year at BIO-IT kick off we've reminded ourselves how the current large scale AI approach mimics the HPC challanges resolved in the past indicating the cloud is not the only way ahead. The challenges and risks for the adoption of AI will be Trust and Keeping Data Private. I'm glad that the industry is already thinking about this, and solutions addressing those issues can be found also at Ardigen's booth #518.

At the recent conference dedicated to #IBD, our computer vision expert Dawid Rymarczyk, PhD presented both a talk and a poster on our collaborative work and publication with Janssen Research & Development and Jagiellonian University. Our AI model's capabilities were a key focus, demonstrating precision matching that of a trained central reader in biopsy assessments. Highlights included: 🔹Precision Alignment: Our AI model's scoring closely aligns with central reader evaluations, showcasing its synergy with endoscopic improvement and clinical remission accurately. 🔹Disease Activity Assessment: A comparison between our SA-AbMILP model and the central reader emphasized the model's accuracy in capturing disease activity. 🔹Expert Validation: Our interpretability component, through SA-AbMILP attention maps, offers a transparent method for verifying AI predictions, allowing for expert validation by highlighting key image areas. For those interested in our findings and methodologies, the poster provides a comprehensive overview.
