“Hassane is a highly motivated medicinal chemist that perseveres through difficult objectives and incorporates his solid understanding of target biochemistry into design of new chemical entities. Hassane and I worked together on a laborious chemical synthesis plan that other chemists abandoned because of its difficult synthesis. His persistence in obtaining sufficient compounds allowed us to obtain clear target validation, achieve a pharmacology decision, and to utilize contract synthesis to deliver sufficient compound for target co-crystallization.”
