An illustration of how direct pressure blasting works:   PanBlast™ pressure blasting pots are outfitted with a UniFlo Remote Control Valve as required and stipulated by OSHA. The UniFlo Remote Control Valve is an air operated combination deadman valve utilized to control the supply of compressed air into the blast pot. In its un-activated or closed position, the valve shuts off the compressed air supply to the blast pot and simultaneously opens the blast pot exhaust outlet port to release any compressed air contained within the blast pot.   Upon receiving a pilot air signal from the depressed AirFlo deadmans Remote Control Handle, the UniFlo Remote Control Valve will instantaneously open, thus permitting the blast pot to pressurize and supply compressed air to the blast hose.
