How to apply the Design Thinking strategies that you just learned on a real -life challenge - yet in a safe space?
You start with working on a challenge that is not your own project, and that still requires serious work for valuable solutions.
In this spring´s Professional Track, we could win the Start-Up Futures Probes as project partner. Futures Probes offers innovative foresight services and belongs to the new generation of creative consultancies that consequently integrate human centricity, collaboration and experimenting forward into their business model. “It's a great opportunity to gain a variety of different professional perspectives from outside our client base and test our business ideas.”, says Lilith Boettcher, one of the 4 founding members.
“Re-designing the Future-Competence-Experience”, this is the task that the Professional Track participants will work on within the next 3 months. It is derived from the portfolio development plans of the start-up founders who are very excited about the solutions that will be developed by the cohort. Co-founder Katrina Günther points out the opportunity she sees: “We may end up with some new creative ideas for how to amp up our work or how to reach new potential customers!”.
In a first step, the practitioners jumped into the classical design thinking OBSERVE – phase, and conducted interviews to collect inspirational data about needs and motivations in the field of future-competence development.
After the interviews, the coach-team is d´accord: their teams did a “very good job!”. Congrats to Danielle Dennewald, Julia Mergenthaler, Simone Widmer, Robert Fritze, Dr. Gereon Schuch Schuch (Deutsche Stiftungsakademie gGmbH), Kai Weber, Jan Cord Ziegenhagen, Dr Jöran Wrana, Thomas Löhr, David G., Caroline Lutz, Matthias Muehlendyck, @Andreas Funke, @Lars Asmus, Ludwig Näf, Thomas Bättig, @Ariane v.
