With its Personal Healthcare division, P&G has been one of the leading suppliers of OTC products for many years and invests many resources in optimized #riskmanagement - worldwide and specifically in P&G's German Innovation Center (GIC) in Schwalbach/Germany, since the acquisition of the Consumer Health branch of Merck in 2018. I had the opportunity to discuss P&G’s safety surveillance and risk management activities with Christoph Bach from markt intern Verlag GmbH: Does risk management for OTC differ from Rx? What are advantages of P&G as a FMCG company in safety surveillance and risk management? How does P&G appreciate and support initiatives like using real word data / real world evidence or introduction of electronic patient and users information (ePI) in Europe?
