We are pleased to support further growth in Tanzania and Africa! The plant in Mkuranga, Tanzania representing our one stop shop for Sub-Saharan Africa markets, has been acquired by Knauf in 2015 and is continously growing ever since. Way to go!

MULTINATIONAL COMPANY KNAUF INVESTMENT REACHED 260 BILLION TSHILLINGS IN TANZANIA Knauf investment in Tanzania has currently reached 260 Billion T-shillings and plans for further investment in 2025 would make the project one of the biggest plasterboards’ manufacturer in the sub Saharan Africa. The company investment focused in the manufacturing of Gypsum boards and gypsum powder. The management of Knauf gives the key reasons for investment in Tanzania as abundance raw materials, huge market, pro investment and facilitation policies as key take on for their continuous investment. Project location Mkuranga-Coast Region
