Over-commitment and ADHD

My latest podcast episode is out! It is a short episode where I talk on ADHDers and how we love to overcommit.

I was ill though thankfully I am better now, however getting ill made me realize how much I needed to rest and stop overcommiting.

ADHD folks are good with taking on a lot of work and wanting to do everything and before you know it the mental overload, paralysis that leaves us overwhelmed suffices.

Over commitment is the ability of wanting to do everything and that is one thing ADHDers do well, there are several reasons to this namely:

  1. Time Blindness
  2. The warrior savior syndrome
  3. Memory
  4. The what if syndrome a.k.a Impatience
