Warner Bros. own the copyright for the Shen Gon Wu names, so they've had to modify any that they use. The Monkey Staff is the Monkey Spear, and the Orb of Tornami is now the Orb of Torpedo.

So that would mean the 3D animation are used in the Xiaolin showdown, ugh why would do that when they were the best part of the show.

I am a HUGE fan of the original series, and when I heard they were continuing way back when, I was elated. I'll have to see if these changes prove to be the show's demise. At least it has a different name, lol
