Hi, you're welcome. I don't know if the Chinese version of Skyrim is an original version made by developers or made by modders. If so, they probably created a custom file (probably called fonts_**.swf), and I don't know if they thought about keeping the English characters. In short, there are files and knowledge that I miss to make that happen, but if I can do it someday, I will.

This is great, but does anyone know how to stop the dialogue subtitles from disappearing when the console is opened? I really want to be able to pause the game to have more time to read the subtitles.
Just have google translate in your web browser and alt tab. You might need to have the game in windowed fullscreen. The game engine will pause on focus loss.
Hello, thank you for the mod! I am a little confused however. I got the mod to work but is this only for the dialogue or is it supposed to include everything like items, books, etc. (the text in .dlstrings and .strings). I saw this comment for the default Skyrim version of this mod that said the books had been translated already and merged? That mod's description said that translating .DLSTRINGS had already been done so I am not sure if those are separate files that need to be downloaded.
UPDATE: NVM! The GitHub project for the mod contains the necessary code to produce the rest. I wonder if there's a way to fix the issue with translating the .string files 🤔
i'm a little confused about somthing. i wanna learn german and my first language is French. i have the game in german and i wanna have the subtitles in French. i downloaded the german english file but there is no german- french one to be downloaded. so now i have the double subbtitle in German/English. does somone have an idea how to manage to have a German-French subs ? :D
I want to do the same, but with other languages. I installed Skyrim in full german, and want to make English subtitles over German Language (text and voice). Would be nice, if the developer would help.
I wanted the same thing as @thefairlight, if you replace the _English part of the Strings files with _German you'll get the dual subtitles in the German language version of the game.
i know this is not what the mod is made for but can u make it that players can only show one subtitle ? so lets say i play the game in english but subtitles are german only so more a translate mod instead of a learning tool

I cannot seem to get the mod working (trying English/Italian). Has anyone recently had success with this MOD?
