Andrew Schimmer is hopeful his wife Jorhomy “Jho” Rovero will soon recover from her illness.
The 36-year-old actor updates his social media account about his wife who has been bedridden in the hospital for several months now after suffering from a severe asthma attack that led to cardiac arrest and hypoxemia—which happens when the brain suffers from severe oxygen deprivation.

Andrew also has started a TikTok account that documents his wife's road to recovery.
In a post on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the actor said his wife might need another batch of tests after her fever went up the night before.
He said, "She's very stable naman at the moment, as you can see.
"Pero yung result ng kanyang test ultrasound last time was very good.

The actor said, "Maraming salamat sa nagdarasal from day one up to now, sumama sa akin para magdasal para sa kanya. Thank you very much.
"As you can see, napakasarap ng tulog niya ngayon. Matagal siyang hindi nakatulog nang ganito. Yung talagang mahimbing yung kanyang tulog.
"Mahimbing na mahimbing yung kanyang pahinga."

At that time, Jho was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City after suffering from severe hypoxemia.
In his post, Andrew appealed for financial help.
Andrew and his wife have two children: Andrea Mari and Neymar.
