Seattle producer Spekulation recruits Perry Porter and Paolo Escobar for the incredibly produced ‘Home of the Mighty.’ Spek put some serious hours into the production of this track. He utilized a 20-piece horn section for the instrumental, that has a gritty west coast vibe with some east coast elements. The song is an ode to the great city of Seattle and the visual elements of the many great highs and lows of our city’s culture. While home to winning sports franchises and major corporations, Spekulation wanted to also show that we are home to a regressive police force and segregated neighborhoods. We have come far, but still have a long way to go. Be on the look out for more form Spekulation both on the production and performance end.
