This guide will walk you through the maximum character level you can reach in Cyberpunk 2077 in the wake of its 2.0 update, as well as your maximum Street Cred, attributes level caps, and skill level caps. We'll also include information on assigning points to Relic, an attribute introduced with the Phantom Liberty expansion.

What is the max level in Cyberpunk 2077?

The Cyberpunk 2077 level cap is 60 after its 2.0 update, up from its original cap of 50. Once you hit this max level, you'll stop earning experience from your activities throughout Night City.

Of course, you can continue to progress and upgrade your character by upgrading your weapons, cyberware, and other equipment; but the days of gaining a new attribute point every so often will be over.

Cyberpunk 2077 Street Cred level cap

Street Cred is another type of experience you can increase during your Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough. Higher Street Cred allows you to use various high-end pieces of equipment, increases the content available at vendors, and unlocks new Gigs for Fixers across Night City.

The Street Cred level cap is level 50. You'll stop earning Street Cred after you hit this lofty milestone.

Cyberpunk 2077 Attributes cap

You'll no doubt have learnt that with each new character level, you'll gain an attribute point which you can use to increase one of your five attributes: Body, Reflexes, Technical Ability, Intelligence, and Cool. The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion introduces a sixth attribute called Relic, which we'll outline in more detail below as you'll earn Relic points separately from attribute points.

The maximum level for each of the other attributes is level 20. Given the number of attribute points you're given over the course of an entire playthrough, that means you can only max out three attributes to level 20 (which leaves you with 5 points leftover for the two remaining attributes).

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update introduced major changes to the game's progression systems, so if you're logging in for the first time post-update, you'll find all your Perk points refunded so you can allocate them in accordance with the more streamlined framework. You'll also have a one-time chance to reassign your attribute points. As of the 2.0 update, you can no longer refund all Perks at once, but can refund them on an individual basis and apply them elsewhere.

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update revamped the way skills work in the game for a more streamlined approach. You can now progress skills in five areas: Headhunter, Netrunner, Shinobi, Solo, and Engineer.

The maximum level cap for each skill is 60. Leveling skills results in a variety of rewards such as Perk points, RAM capacity, and movement speed buffs.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Relic cap

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty introduces a new progression attribute called Relic, which are specifically designed to enhance your character's cyberware. You an assign Relic points similar to how you assign attribute points, though note that different Relic options require different numbers of points. Score Relic points by visiting Militech Data Terminals, which you'll find tucked away in hidden areas around Night City. This means that such points are meant to be awarded based on discovery and exploration, and as a result, there's not exactly as Relic level cap as much as there's simply a set amount of Relic points you can get in the game.

There are nine total Relic options to unlock in the game, and if you want to unlock them all, it will require a total of 15 points.
