Naydene Gonnella is an artist based in Antigua and Barbuda whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France and the United Kingdom. Her portraits, both animal and human, capture a sense of "movement and whimsy". Gonnella describes her works as being both agitating and calming at the same time. She employs a combination of encaustic painting with oils, acrylics, and elements of collage, creating a vibrant multi-layered effect.
